Pink Day for the GTG

Today we went to see the Texas Stonehenge then drove to Fredericksburg for sightseeing and lunch. We all had lunch including a sip of beer for Belle. The guys went to the World War II Museum and the girls went shopping. We, of course, hit the fudge shops and we all bought a hot pink T-shirt that says " What happens with the sisters stays with the sisters." From then on we were really easy to find, we looked like a flock of bright pink flamingos going down the street. We found a Flamingo hat (see photo of Jill) which I refrained from buying (only because it was too much money). Think the sisters are going to put me in Flamingo rehab. I bought a doormat that says "BEWARE, dog can't hold its licker." So now people will be warned that Sassy is waiting on the sofa to clean your face as you enter my rig. I can't remember when I've had so much fun.

More on Texas GTG

Okay, we're having way too much fun. What a great bunch of women (and men). Yesterday we went to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Liz brought Belle, our mascot so we have pictures of her sightseeing with us. Today we're going to see the Texas Stonehenge and then to Fredericksburg for sightseeing and lunch. I can't remember when I've had so much fun.

We also visited St Joseph's church. A beautiful old church that holds services in English, Spanish and German daily.

Texas GTG RV Women

Ernie, Lori and I all arrived at Schreiner on Sundsay. Jill, Tommy, Carol and Liz arrived Monday. While Liz and Carol got settled in, the rest of us went to Bandera for lunch and then to the 11th street bar for a beer. To see more photos go to www.rvwomen.com/forum. Ernie fixed his famous chili for dinner and we all sat around a campfire telling stories and laughing and laughing. Jill and Tommy got their dogs some booties to keep the grass burrs out of their feet. Wish I had a video camera - two dogs trying not to walk on any of their feet - high stepping and kicking sideways with every step. They finally took pity and took them off. We're a really wild bunch - we were all in our rigs by 9pm. Not everyone can keep up with us.
